At the April Meeting of the Temora Shire Council, President Bill Speirs updated Council on what the Ariah Park community was planning to celebrate over the June Long Weekend in 2027. Mr Speirs informed Council that planning was underway to celebrate a number of milestones in the Ariah Park community over the June Long Weekend, 2027, which will be from Friday night, June 11, Saturday, June 12, Sunday, June 13 and the Kings Birthday Public Holiday on Monday, June 14. These are some of the events that may happen - planning and preparation is underway and ongoing: 1. Ariah Park Railway Dam - 100 years 2. Ariah Park Tennis Club - 125 years 3. Ariah Park Bowling Club - 100 years 4. Ariah Park Hotel - 110 years 5.. Ariah Park Post Office - 110 years 6. Ariah Park Memorial Hall - 70 years 7.
