Last Thursday 23 July at 1.20pm emergency services were called to an accident on the corner of Hoskins and Victoria Streets. A silver Holden Commodore collided with a motorcycle at the roundabout on Hoskins Street and Victoria Street. The Commodore was travelling in a westerly direction on Victoria Street through the roundabout when it collided with a small motorcycle travelling in a southerly direction on Hoskins Street. After being treated for minor injuries the 40-year-old male rider of the motorcycle was transported to Wagga Wagga Base Hospital for further tests, as a precaution. The 76-year-old driver of the Holden was uninjured. Investigations are continuing as to the cause of the accident.
