The Temora Dragons will be looking to repeat their Round four win over the Wagga Kangaroos at Wagga's Geohex Stadium next Saturday and remain at the top of the Group Nine premiership ladder. The Dragons' 32-12 win over the South City Bulls last Sunday saw them replace Gundagai in the top position after the Tigers went down to the Junee Diesels. The top of the Group Nine ladder has three placed Young three points behind Temora and Gundagai, with Junee one point behind the Cherrypickers and Cootamundra a further point down in fifth place, which they share with Kangaroos and South City with only their "for and against" separating them. With four rounds remaining, the required points to make the semi-finals cut-off look to be 20 points and while Temora and Gundagai are almost certain to qualify, the make-up of the remaining clubs in contention is interesting. Young are currently on 15 points, three points behind Temora and Gundagai, and will need to win three of their four games and the same applies to Junee, one point behind on 14. Three clubs, Cootamundra, Kangaroos and South City, all sitting on 12 points and the pressure will be on these clubs each week as the competition counts down. While David White will return and Jimmy Stewart remain on the injured list, other players who should be available include Brodie Foster, Grant Hughes and Will McDermott should be available in a game the Dragons will not want to take lightly, despite the big score Temora put on the Kangaroos in their first meeting. Both Hayden Philp and Brandon Nima, who missed the Young game, came through the Bulls match okay and can be expected to take their places in the first 13. In Sunday's reserve grade game, the Dragons will be looking to improve on their poor showing against the Bulls and will miss Tom New, who sustained an eye socket injury last outing. The Weissel Cup team face another tough outing as they take on the fourth placed Kangaroos while in the League Tag game Temora should run up another big score against a team that failed to score a point in the 64-0 loss to the competition leaders Brothers.
