The fifth annual Temora Ex-Services Memorial Club Truck Show is gearing up for its biggest year yet, returning to the Temora Showground on Saturday, 26 September, in conjunction with the 139th Annual Temora Agricultural Show. With an incredible display of working, heritage and show trucks expected to roll into Temora from across the region and beyond, the Truck Show promises a fantastic day out for truck enthusiasts and families alike. After welcoming between 50 and 80 trucks in previous years, organisers are hoping to crack the 100-truck milestone in 2026. There will be plenty happening throughout the day, including the always popular Grand Parade, trade displays, show rides, family entertainment, the Agricultural Pavilion, horse events and all the attractions of the 139th Temora Agricultural Show. The trade stalls will also have plenty for truck enthusiasts to check out, including American Chrome and Custom, with Scott McSweeney and the crew returning for their fourth year at the Temora Truck Show. Craig and Colette from Steering the Future/Trucking Life Magazine will be joining us for the first time, along with their simulator. Yogi from Outback Truckers will also be onsite. Highway 31 Clothing and Apparel will also be attending, while Daimler Trucks will have a truck display on site. There’s something extra special planned for the kids this year too, with Dora the Explorer, Elsa, Bluey and Paw Patrol characters making appearances around the Truck Show. Between 11:30am and 1:30pm, children can take part in the “Can You Find the Characters?” hunt, searching the trucks for hidden matching character dolls for their chance to enter the draws for show bag vouchers supplied by Grab and Go Showbags. Draws will take place at 12pm, 12:30pm, 1pm and 1:30pm. For the trucks, there are thousands of dollars in prizes up for grabs across a huge range of categories. The prestigious Working Truck of the Show and Heritage Truck of the Show each carry a $1,000 in prize money, while other categories offer $200 for first place and $100 for second place. This year also includes the “No Time to Shine” category, giving hardworking trucks the chance to come exactly as they are, as well as the Breakdown Truck or Service Vehicle category. The celebrations will actually begin the night before, with the free Truck Show’s Friday Night Function on 25 September from 7:30pm at naming rights sponsor Temora Ex Services Memorial Club. Featuring Lock, Stock and Bingle live, the club will also have raffles, football on the big screen and a free courtesy bus, it’s the perfect opportunity for exhibitors, visitors and locals to catch up before Saturday’s festivities.
