A gala event at the Temora Town Hall on Tuesday night 23 June heralded the new phase of a well-known Temora accounting business, Paisley Robertson Accountants has announced a rebranding and a demerger. The new entity will be reborn as West Accounting and Advisory and will be led by director Bernadette West the business will continue to operate from 140 Hoskins Street with existing long term staff members Heidi McGrath, Susanne Furphy, Megan Evans, Rachel Heath, Jess Winkley and Dana Cross. Paisley Roberston Accountants has operated in Temora for the last 25 years as well as offices in Wagga Wagga. Over the last 21 years Ms West has been a partner at the firm and has worked there for 25 years. Paisley Roberston Accountants stepped in to take over the business after former proprietor Peter Crouch who was very well known to the surrounding community died suddenly, Ms West was his second in charge at the time. Having been a director of Paisley Robertson for 21 Years Ms West has made the decision to branch away from the firm to operate independently. Ms West said she is very excited at the new direction she and the firm are taking. “I never dreamed that I'd be a partner, but I've been a partner for 21 years,” she said. “To go out on my own now, it's going to be a lot more work. “I've got a really good team and they're all behind me with everything. “We've got very long-term clients as well, long-term staff and we have a lot of fun along the way.” More than 80 people, including clients, friends and family came to the function celebrating the venture. The demerger will officially take place on 1 July with the Temora office being rebranded as West Accounting and Advisory. West Accounting and Advisory will continue to provide the same professional service to their existing clients and thanked them all for their support over the years.
