A new community initiative has officially launched in Temora with an ambitious vision: to create a trusted digital hub that connects local people, businesses, community groups and visitors in a way that strengthens real-world community life. The Temora and District Digital Community Network (TDDCN) has been developed locally with one clear goal—to make it easier for people to discover what is happening across Temora and the surrounding districts while supporting the organisations and businesses that help our community thrive. Unlike many websites and social media platforms that encourage endless scrolling, the TDDCN has been designed with a different philosophy. We want people to use technology to discover local news, events, jobs, businesses and community activities, then get out and enjoy everything our region has to offer. The website is completely free to browse and does not require visitors to create an account. Future plans include a secure, family-friendly community platform where residents, businesses, sporting clubs, churches and organisations can connect in a positive environment focused on strengthening local communities rather than maximising screen time.
