Bobbara Hill beckons for Sunday stroll

A picturesque stretch of countryside will be on show when Binalong Public School P and C Association members participate in the Bobbara Hill Walk on Sunday. The fundraiser for the school will take participants along Bobbara Road from 9am to 1pm, with walkers encouraged to lace up, enjoy the climb and take in views across the surrounding countryside and canola fields. Organisers are promising a relaxed morning out for families, friends and anyone keen to enjoy the fresh air while supporting the local school. “Views worth the climb” is the event’s slogan, with fantastic countryside and canola views expected to be a highlight of the walk. A barbecue, refreshments and drinks will be available. Entry is by donation, with every dollar raised going towards supporting students, resources and school programs at Binalong Public School. The P and C Association has encouraged locals to “grab your crew” and make a morning of it. No dogs are allowed at the event.
