A special shoutout goes to Eleanor Brown who joined the lady golfers at Temora last week. Eleanor celebrated her 94th birthday in early October. During the event, the Audrey Flakelar Memorial Stableford event, Eleanor played seven holes, scoring 14 stableford points - a fantastic achievement. Eleanor’s golfing prowess is matched by her cooking skills. All the lady golfers love her date scones after golf on Wednesdays. The Audrey Flakelar Memorial Stableford event winner on the day, with a fantastic score, was Cath New with 43 points. The runner-up was Jacinta Watson with 39 points. The Ball winner was Sue Alexander.
