A team of our St Anne’s Catholic College Year 7 and 8 students travelled to Young to compete in the NSW South West U15 League Tag competition last week. The girls played exceptionally well in their pool games, winning against Hennessy, Tumut High and Sacred Heart to progress to the final against another very strong local team from Temora High School. Temora High School emerged triumphant, winning 18-0 and progressed to the next level of competition. The College’s standout player on the day, Zephanie Lancaster, who was voted Player’s Player, was awarded a new Steeden ball. A special thanks goes to Year 10 students Lani McCrone and Addison Matthews for volunteering their time to coach the girls on the day.
