Former Temora Dragons player, John Lomax, passed away on Thursday 4 June at Cootamundra. Mr Lomax played with Temora in 1973-74, under Captain/Coach Bob Doyle, who played in the 1969 Sydney Grand Final against South Sydney. Originally from Inverell, Mr Lomax played with the Newtown Jets in Sydney in the late sixties before moving to Group Nine where he coached Harden Murrumburrah in 1971 before joining Wagga’s Turvey Park in 1972 before joining the Dragons the following year.
