The Temora Rugby Union Club (Tuskers) will celebrate two generations of local rugby - the 1986 men’s premiership team and the 2016 women’s premiership team, during its Legacy and Legends Ball on Saturday. The event, which will take place at the Temora Showground Pavilion from 6pm, is set to honour the teams that will mark their 40-year and 10-year reunions. The dress code is a black-tie event and there will be a three-course meal with an hour of complimentary drinks. Rocket 88 will provide live entertainment. In an evening that promises to be a memorable occasion, attendees will be able to relive stories of the past glories, the triumphs and the unforgettable moments that helped shape the club’s history. Hear the tales from the legends themselves and reflect on the deeds of the premiership-winning living legends of 1986 and 2016. Past players will share their game-day rituals, preparation and what they believe it took to become champions. The people involved, the friendships forged and the memories from those seasons are just part of what makes the club so special. The stories will be flowing, the memories will be shared and the legends will be celebrated throughout the evening. A bus pick-up will be available from the Shamrock Hotel at 5pm, 5.15pm and 5.30pm and will also be available to drop people home at 10.30pm, 11pm, 11.30pm and 12 midnight. Tickets priced at $100 per person for the event you won’t want to miss are available at https://www.trybooking.com/events/landing/1585874
