Temora Shire Council has approved an additional opening day at the Temora Landfill to better support residents, builders and local contractors. The landfill will now also be open on Thursdays during standard weekday operating hours (8am to 12.30pm and 1.15pm to 5pm), as well as existing opening days. The change responds to increased demand for waste disposal, linked to ongoing residential development and construction activity across the shire. The extra opening day is intended to improve access to the facility, reduce the need for out-of-hours callouts and support more efficient service delivery.
