Temora Kangaroos’ netballer Tifo Moore chalked up her 150th senior game for the club on Saturday. Since her debut in 2013, Tifo has become the definition of a true club person. The club described Tifo as fiercely competitive, loyal and always putting the team first. She has made a lasting impact through her playing, coaching and volunteering. Tifo competes with heart, grit and determination, giving everything until the final whistle. Tifo’s teammate Bid Breust said Tifo is the player you want on your team. “She’s the one that will have your back, the one who will throw the pass you never knew you were going to catch, but she had the faith in you to get there,” she said. “She believes in her team and is always there for the win. “She has high expectations of her team, but the expectations she has for herself are on another level beyond what she would expect of anyone. “She is fierce, loyal and passionate.” Jess Winkley, who had previously coached Tifo, described her as a powerhouse in defence. “2014 will always hold such a special place in my heart,” Jess said. “Coaching you, watching you learn the game and of course, that memorable premiership to then watch you continue to grow, improve and flourish with every season you play has been unreal.” Mic Gerhard said Tifo leads by example and lifts everyone around her. “I’ve loved sharing the court with you, making it to many finals together and learning so much from the way you play,” Mic said.
